Oxley, BrisbaneOxley is a south-western suburb of Brisbane, located approximately 11km from the CBD. The Queensland Police Academy is at Oxley. Oxley is on a bend in the Brisbane River, opposite Lone Pine, and has some prestigious homes looking down onto the river.
Oxley Road runs from Indooroopilly through Sherwood and Corinda to Oxley where it meets the busy Ipswich Road. Oxley Railway Station is on the Brisbane to Ipswich line which runs alongside Oxley Road and the follows Ipswich Road to Darra and beyond.
Adjoining suburbs are Seventeen Mile Rocks and Darra toward Ipwsich, Corinda and Rocklea toward Brisbane, and Durack on the other side of Ipswich Road. See the Google Map of Oxley.
