Forest Lake, Brisbane
Situated 18 km south-south-west of Brisbane's CBD, Forest Lake is a
planned community that was commenced in 1990. The suburb is largely
family based, with over half of its households comprised of couples with
children, and another 30% made up of couples. The residential area
surrounds an artificial lake, and the suburb itself boasts numerous
parks, restaurants, schools and community and sporting facilities.
Forest Lake is home to the Forest Lake Village Shopping Centre, and
other shopping can be found at Forest Court and Forest Fair. The area is
serviced by multiple bus routes.
