Boundary Road is home to a host of restaurants as well as a shopping centre.  There is boutique shopping on Rouen Road and in nearby Paddington. Large, Queenslander and Colonial style homes are the norm in this hilly suburb and the locality of Rainworth within.  Leafy Bardon has many parks including the Purtell and Bowman Park.  Wests Leagues Club is one of many community sports clubs in Bardon. The main thoroughfares are Boundary Road and Simpsons Road, which lead south to Toowong and northbound to Ashgrove and Enoggera.
