Auchenflower, BrisbaneAuchenflower is a small leafy, river-side suburb, 2.5 km west of the Brisbane CBD between Milton and Toowong along Coronation Drive and Milton Road.
Jogging and cycling tracks run from the city, past Auchenflower
and along the water-front all the way to the university at
St Lucia. Local shops can be found
at Centro Milton on Baroona Road in nearby Milton or at Toowong
Village. Auchenflower
is also home to the Wesley Hospital and there is a medical centre on
Milton Road. ;
Auchenflower Railway Station is the second stop on the Brisbane to
Ipswich rail line, and only seven minutes from Central station. The
station is just behind the Wesley Hospital. There are frequent bus services that run towards the city along
Milton Road and Coronation Drive.
