Aspley, Brisbane

13km north from the city, Aspley is divided by Maundrell Terrace into the older sections in the east and the newer developments in the west. Largely residential Aspley is also home to the 'Pick and Pay' Hypermarket and a Home Base retail centre. Restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets can be found in at the intersection of Maundrell Terrace, Gympie Road, Robinson Road and Albany Creek Road. The main arterial road in Aspley, Gympie Road, leads north to the Sunshine Coast and south into the city. Cinemas, pubs and more major shopping can be found in nearby Chermside. Aspley is popular with families because of the many schools and parks in the area .
