Ashgrove, Brisbane

Ashgrove is around 5 km north-west from Brisbane's CBD. It is a primarily residential suburb with lots of families. The area is well stocked with schools, parks and community sports, and is the base of the Brisbane-wide GPS Rugby competition. The suburb is home to the neighbourhood of Ithaca, which features the Brisbane North Institute of TAFE as well as the Broncos Football Club. The suburb's major shopping centre, with plenty of boutiques, specialty stores and serviced offices is on the very busy Waterworks Road. The other main roads in the area are Ashgrove Avenue, Stewart Road, Jubilee Terrace and Arthur Terrace.
