Arana Hills, Brisbane Ten kilometers north of the Brisbane CBD, Arana Hills is a mainly residential area just within Pine Rivers district. The main retail shopping and dining area is at the Kmart complex on Dawson Parade, which is the main arterial into the city. To the east is South Pine Road and Everton Hills, while to the west is Patricks Road, Brisbane Forest Park and the suburbs of Ferny Hills and Ferny Grove.
Nearby schools and the
added space of detached housing make Arana Hills a family-orientated
suburb. It also has many parks and an indoor cricket centre. Kedron Brook runs through Arana Hills and many of the suburb's park run
along it.
Arana Hills is close to Oxford Park, Grovely and Ferny Grove Railway
Stations and the city-bound buses at Brookside Bus Interchange.
