Acacia Ridge, 4110, Brisbane Acacia Ridge is roughly 13km south of the Brisbane CBD. Business is predominantly light industry and a new technology park.
The suburb was established after the Second World War with much of the housing being comprised of older weatherboard post-war cottages, housing commission homes and the occasional brick and tile low set home. Most residents live in stand-alone houses although there are some newer townhouses.
Brandon Park has Leagues, Soccer, and Netball Clubs. There is some light industrial in Acacia Ridge. There are also many community facilities in the neighbouring suburbs of Algester and Sunnybank Hills.
