• Advocates for Survivors of Child Abuse (ASCA )is a national not for profit organisation of survivors supporting other survivors for anyone over the age of 18 who feels they have suffered abuse - physical, emotional, sexual or spiritual.

• Alternatives to Violence Project AVPQ is a growing community of people who support those actively seeking nonviolent solutions to conflict. Members share experiences, skills, information and their time. It is a multicultural, independent, non-profit association of trained volunteers, offering experiential workshops that help people to change their lives.

• Another Closet: Domestic Violence in Gay and Lesbian Relationships - Information source for victims of domestic violence.


 
• Bravehearts provides comprehensive counselling for child and adult survivors of child sexual assault, and provides advocacy, education, prevention, early intervention and research programs.
   
• Brisbane Rape & Incest Survivors Support Centre runs groups for women survivors of sexual violence (either as children or adults)

• Centacare South East QLD offers a range of counselling and support services.

• The Esther Centre (Centre for Addressing Abuse in Human Services and Faith Communities) provides support for people who have experienced physical, sexual, emotional and spiritual abuse in church institutions, faith communities and human services

• Family Planning Queensland (FPQ)  provides sexual and reproductive health services to the wider community of Queensland. It focuses on education, clinical services and information.

• Kids Help Line is Australia's only free, confidential and anonymous, 24-hour telephone and online counselling service specifically for young people aged between five and 18.
   
• Legal Aid Queensland provides access to justice for disadvantaged Queenslanders by providing legal information

  ,advice and representation.

• MaleSurvivor: National Organisation Against Male Sexual Victimization is a US-based organisation which provides assistance for all victims of sexual abuse with a major focus on male victims of sexual assault.

• Parentline- 1300 30 1300 is a confidential telephone counselling service providing which also provides support for parents and care-givers in Queensland

• Survivors of Incest Anonymous (SIA) is a world wide organisation which publishes and sells incest survivor literature and quarterly bulletins.

• Victims of Crime Inc. no longer exists. The new service is run by Relationships Australia Qld.

• Violence Against Women Australia Says No provides information for young people, parents and the community on identifying and avoiding abusive and violent relationships and where to find help.
