• DVconnect Mensline is a free, confidential telephone counselling referral and support service for men. It is a Queensland wide service that operates between the hours of 10am 6pm, Mondays to Fridays. Mensline offers professional counselling and information, and acts as a strategic point of referral for Queensland men around issues of: domestic and family violence, relationship problems and separation issues, mens health, child support, family law issues, suicide and other significant issues for men. Importantly Mensline offers specialist assistance for men who are seeking strategies to address their own use of violence and other destructive patterns in their personal lives and relationships, as well as those who may be (or have been) victims of violence themselves.

  The Fatherhood Foundation is a tax deductible entity and harm prevention charity fully authorised by the Australian government which has developed a solid track record of achievement. We invite you to work with us to turn the tide of fatherlessness by promoting excellence in fathering.
  
  
• Improving the Odds is an internet-based treatment program that has been developed to assist problem gamblers to either control or abstain from gambling. Participation in the Improving the Odds program is free and those involved can withdraw at any time. It involves 6 sessions online, once a week for six weeks. Participants can complete the program in the privacy of their own home and will be provided with regular feedback on their progress throughout the program. Participants will be asked to complete a confidential questionnaire and a telephone interview at the beginning of the program, and again at three, six and 12 month intervals after its completion. • The Spring Hill Branch of Relationships Australia (Qld) provides a variety of services including relationship counselling (to both individuals, couples or families), educational programs such as Before and After baby: Bettering Your Bonds; Building Better Relationships (for couples wanting to enhance and enrich their relationship); For the Best of Your Life to Come (for those over 40 years of age); and Over 60s, Ageing as You Choose. Family Violence Programs for women, include one day workshops relating to Assertiveness, Communication, Self Esteem, Emotional Abuse and Boundaries. Also provided is a no charge, 8-week Women's Group "When Loving Hurts" for women who are in, or have been in, abusive/ violent relationships. For men, a 15 week program "Alternatives to Aggression" is available to men who have used violent or abusive behaviour toward their female partner. The Branch also provides a free gambling help service as well as a free gambling related financial counselling service. A relationship counselling service is also now being provided by Relationships Australia in the western suburbs of Brisbane.
